Hey, if you haven’t already watch it, episode 2, along with it’s bloopers, of Uncovering Oklahoma are now online.
Just keep visiting Uncovering Oklahoma for the latest my adventurous show. Yesterday we went to Guthrie and filmed MAWI, the wakeboard place. I got a bit sunburned. Afterwards, Ali and I went geocaching and I found my first cache!
As for what I’ve been up lately, it’s been mostly that show, moving into my new apartment, work, updating SoaH, and exploring new places. My life hasn’t been all too much dull lately.
For this Legally Free Friday, I have an iPhone and iPod Touch game. I just downloaded it myself, so I haven’t had a chance to personally play, but hey it’s free and I’ve heard good things about it. PewPew is a simple vector-based 2D / 3D shooter that features two different gameplay modes reminiscent of corresponding modes in Geometry Wars: Galaxies. The ‘Dodge This’ mode challenges the player to zoom about the playfield, dodging a barrage of enemies. ‘Assault’ mode pits the player against an onslaught of enemies, with the goal of destroying as many as possible in an attempt to stay alive and rack up points. The ‘Dodge This’ mode features one onscreen virtual stick, while ‘Assault’ features dual sticks, one for motion, one for firing. In both modes the playfield pulses to the beat of the trance soundtrack and power-up boxes can be collected for points and shield energy boosts.
