Hello world!
I just installed WordPress to help manage my web site. I’m in the process of converting the web site over to see if this is going to work for the site. A ton of stuff has happened since my last update, so check back later as I’ll start regular updates.
UPDATE:
Alright, let’s get this show on the road. It’s been months since I wrote about what’s happening in my life. During the months I had slow internet, I didn’t feel like updating either of my sites, so this post is going to be long. There was so many big moments too. On November 20th, I moved into my own place in Oklahoma City. It’s a one bedroom apartment with around 700 square feet that I’m playing $475 a month. There’s so much I say about the place, but I’ll be brief. It’s a nice place. It does have it’s flaws, but it’s better than any of my friends’ first place. The two most annoying features are in my bedroom I can hear whenever water is being used and second is that there’s a closet right in front of my living room entrance door, making it a bitch to move in large furniture. I’ll take some pictures of the place and show off all my new furniture.
On October 16 I went on what would be the first of several dates with Carol Anne. She was such an awesome girl. We were together for a little over a month when she sent me an e-mail dumping me. She basically wasn’t used to be in a relationship and decided she didn’t really need one. I tried to work things out with her, but she wouldn’t respond back to me. I had noticed on our last date and when I text messaged her later that week she seemed somewhat distant. There’s so much I say about all of the cool things we did, but I’ve been moving on and trying to meet new people. I’m still a bit hurt. I think what hurts the most was being dumped when I was starting to love her.
However, my sad story doesn’t even compare to my Mom’s as she developed breast cancer. She went to the Cancer Treatment Center of America up in Tulsa to get cured. Thankfully, the cancer was found and removed before it could spread. They did remove her left breast. She’s still going to go through chemotherapy to reduce the chance of it coming back in another form or place. This was supposed to start today, but with the icy roads, they pushed it back to the end of the month.
As you can tell, there’s been some big changes in my life. I’ll have to share more about them another time.
