STUPID! The Law caught me.

On Sunday morning on my way to work, I got pulled over by a cop. I was totally, like, “why in hell I am being pulled over?” Well, it turns out I didn’t to a complete stop at a stop sign right in front of house. I was real nice to the officer, hoping he wouldn’t give me a ticket, but he did anyway. I had just paid off my car and now I get a $200 ticket. I’m working on getting it off my record. Still, this sucks. I usually stop and look too. I feel so violated because it was right in front of my house. Though, I was down the street aways before he caught up with me. My sister told me that the officer that gave me a ticket is a jerk anyway and pulls teens over all the time. He seemed nice to me, but again he was cold.

On a nicer subject, I went to Edmond’s Art Festival on Friday. Although it wasn’t as large as Oklahoma City’s festival, it was nicer in some ways. The art was generally cheaper for one. Each artist had their own tent, which made the art area stretched out. There had more fun stuff for children. There was this guy dressed up as a statue. He was really neat. He would move around slowly sometimes, interacting with people. Most of the art there were done by local artist. I thought these series of paintings were interesting. There was some pop-culture art there, like this piece. I saw this waterfall that I thought was cool. With most of the artists being local, there were typical local themes such as wildlife, the old train days, and local places. All of those pictures were taken with my cellphone camera. I’m glad at how well they turned out pretty good.

This week’s You Laugh, You Lose theme is, Playing With Words, since I don’t have very many police jokes. OH SHIT! It’s the law! I better go.
