I had quite a bit of fun yesterday on my 24th Birthday. I started the day by having breakfast at Carl Jr.’s and got their monster biscuit, which was pretty good. I then went back home and messed around online (noting that I had got my State Tax Return Back then) until I went into the mall at about 1. I had a free birthday lunch at Chick-fil-A. I walked the mall, looking at different stores. I didn’t end up buying anything.
On my way out, I stopped in at work and chatted with everyone since they weren’t busy. There was a bit of an issue at work, which I talked my boss about today. After I told them I was going to go shopping and find stuff for my apartment when I move out. Dana suggested Garden Ridge, and so I went there. I found a few things I liked and I took pictures with my cellphone. I found some rocks I want to put in my bathroom sink; a fake tree for the living room; a small towel holder; a painting that I might to make my own version of since I’m not paying $150 for it; and a bunch of other neat little things here and there. On a side note, I do plan to make paint some abstract art for my place. Again, I didn’t buy anything there.
Afterwards, I meet up with my family and had dinner at Pepperoni Grill. I got my present from my parents, which was a card with a $25 Game Stop, $10 Burger King, and $10 Sonic gift cards. After dinner, I drove to Norman and saw my friend Darren and watched The Mist with Christy. Overall, I had a pretty full day.
On Monday my sister took a two hour drive and I visited our Grandpa Jake at his work. We had Subway for lunch and chatting for about an hour. With money being tight, he appolgized he didn’t have anything to give me for my birthday, which I was fine with. My sister gave me a $25 Game Stop gift card when we got back into town.
