Dreaming of Buffy
It’s dream sharing time! This morning in my dream, I was in a high school classroom and the teacher was writing stuff on a projector. This projector was special because it could like animate things that were drawn on it. The class ended, so I went to mess around with this projector for myself. Then I noticed this small grim reaper creature come out through the walls. I chased after it, but it walked through a wall. I tried to wall through the wall myself, but I didn’t have that power. Instead, I left the room hoping to catch it in another room when I ran into Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I worked with her and the whole scooby-gang to stop this monster, but it unleashed some sort of powerful dark matter. I had to get everyone away from the school while Buffy killed the monster. I know she killed it because the dark matter went away. Then Principle Snider asked us what was going on. I explained to him that a fire just happened and we had to get everyone out of the school. He totally bought it. A pretty weird dream for Leap Year Day. I had another dream with me in a mall and someone trying to kill me. It had a pretty neat plot twist at the end, so I wrote it down in my collection of story ideas.
As for some other quick bits, I got my Dolce & Gabbana glasses today. I had a wholesale lab make them instead of making them myself at my work. The lab did a great a job with them plus I got them pretty quick as I ordered them back on Tuesday. They normally didn’t do direct to a person, but since I knew someone who used to work for them, they made an exception. I was trying to find a place that carried Hoya’s the Phoenix Super Hi-Vision lens, and once I found someone that carried Hoya’s products, I found out that it was way too expensive. I ended up getting similar product that we stock at my work, but they sold it to me $50 cheaper. I feel kind of bad because the whole journey I took to find lenses better than what we carried, I just ended getting something similar. I of course got a frame from our store because we do have the best selection of frames and after visiting many places, I can proudly say that. I look great in my new frames. I went with something different from my old pair. They have a full black plastic front with metal sides. They look really arty. You’ll just have to take my word for it until I get someone to take pictures of me with them on. I tried to take some myself with my cellphone camera, but I suck at taking pictures of myself. Hum, I guess that’s all for now.

Man, I’ve been having some random dreams lately. A few nights ago I had a dream that I was with Will Smith’s wife (in the dream the lady I was with was referred to as being his wife). I guess because my mind didn’t know her name. In the dream we were shopping in some mall. Then there was another scene when I’m driving a bug car off a beach cliff and I land safely on the beach. Then we decided we didn’t want to go to the beach anymore, so we left. As we tried to leave, a bunch of people holding signs advertising stuff tried to surround the car, annoying us like pop-up ads.
As for today, I had a dream I was making a short horror comedy movie and my actors were real monsters. I remember it was going to be a two day shoot. It was near Halloween and that’s why I wanted to make the movie. As I tried to recall what the movie was about, things weren’t adding up. Why? Well, in the dream we just made up stuff as we went. I remember a scene with some old shack and a guy was trying to hide out in it only to run into more monsters. I think my brain wants me to make a random horror movie. It sounds like a good idea to me!
With all of this talk about horror stories, I figured it’s time that I share another short story of mine. Eternal Mist is a story I wrote back in my junior year in high school. I had this memory of the story being one of my great story stories, but when I went back to re-edit it, it wasn’t as great as I thought it was. Maybe I’ll do a total rewrite to it someday, but for now I leave it in it’s classic form with a few mistakes fixed.

Just a quick blog entry tonight. I didn’t go anywhere today. I spent the morning working hard on my new novella. Then I took a break to play Devil May Cry 3. I ordered Devil May Cry 4 (PS3 version, special edition) through Amazon (hehehe, I’m sneaking out of paying taxes). Then I wrote some more! Oh, and I talked to my friends Kim and Paul for a short while. Then I wrote some more! Okay, I’m off to bed.

I got five quick images for this week’s You Laugh, You Lose. Some of the images you will have to look at for a minute to see what’s funny with it.
Super Tuesday
Today looks to be the biggest Super Tuesday event in history. To celebrate, I’ve done a You Laugh, You Lose political theme for the event. I went out to vote only to find out that I’m registered as an independent so I’m not allowed to vote in the presidential primaries. Well, fuck that’s totally lame. All I could vote for was some local school board members, which I knew nothing about.
You see, I’m a bit stuck on who to vote for anyway. I like Ron Paul because he wants to limit the government’s power, lower government spending to such a point that it gets rid of the feudal income tax, pull US troops out from around the whole world, deregulation of the Internet, and get the US dollar to be solid to increase it’s value so things can be cheaper again. Of course, he’s not perfect. He lacks a lot of the civil rights that I see Barack Obama has. To show you a quick piece on Obama’s character, read how he helped out a fellow Democrat. That’s just one example of his character. He’s also more gamer friendly anyone else and his support for technology issues is unlike anyone else. Obama wants a more open government. I read this blog post on how he went to Lawrence Lessig, founder of Creative Commons, to discuss internet and copyright policy. Just read this for way more reasons to vote for him. During his campaign, he’s refused to take lobbyist money, unlike Hillary Clinton who has taken more lobbyist money than anyone else. Something Awful did this humorous article endorsing Hillary. Bill Clinton was alright, but his wife is only where she is because of her husband. I’m all for a woman president, but not this one. This piece was the first thing I read listing why Hillary should drop out of the race. If you just google, “reasons not to vote for Hillary Clinton,” you’ll see tons of lists.
And that’s a wrap for my political thoughts. If Paul and Obama ran together as president and vice, that would be awesome.
Busy, busy, busy. In most of my free time, I’ve been working on my novella, The Crashing of Heaven and Hell. It’s going to be such an awesome book. You better buy it when it comes out because all the cool kids are going to be buying it. You want a taste of it’s awesomeness? Okay, here is one paragraph for you guys:
Virus was reaching to take off Jet’s pants when a wooden pirate ship sailed right through her house. (Yes, I said a pirate ship, you know the boat kind that floats on water, but this ship was so awesome it could sail anywhere.) The two lovers stopped and ran away from the ship and out the front door. They watched the ship sail through a sea of buildings. Their view however was soon obstructed for Virus’ house started to magically rebuild itself. In a matter of minutes, the house was back the way it was.
Wasn’t that paragraph the most awesome Valentine’s Day gift you even gotten!? I totally give the best gifts. Though, no girl is awesome enough to be my valentine this year. My dream girl looks something like this. Why is she so awesome? Let’s see: short black hair, glasses, dark clothing, cute, oh and she has Sonic the Hedgehog posters. Too bad she has boyfriend and lives in another country.
Now it’s time to share pictures of my hotness. On Tuesday, I went out and to look for some new sunglasses since I got my free pair certificate for working a year at LensCrafters. I’ve now been with the company for four years now. I’m burning out, but today was a good day though. But I’m getting off subject. I went to Sunglass Hut (which is owned by LensCrafters) to find some sunglasses. I found three pair I thought were interesting, so I had the associates there take pictures of myself wearing them. All of these pictures were taken on my cellphone, so the image quality is lame. I present: the Juliet, Whisker, and Crosshair. I’ve showed the pictures to some friends to get their feed back. No one cares for the Crosshair. Most of the votes have gone toward the Whisker, but the Juliet is a close second. I’m leaning toward the Whisker myself. The next time I have time off, I’m going to go and get a frame and then get my prescription put in it.
There’s also this really cool AR lens treatment I read about and I was trying to find a place that sold it, but I didn’t find any. Though, I only got around to looking at one place. I spent a good chuck of the day also trying to find the clothing store, Tree and Leaf Clothing, only to find out that the place I read about online was there printing headquarters. The guy there was pretty helpful and told me where I could find their products at these clothing stores I never heard of before. I ended up learning about three offbeat cool places to check out the next time I have a chance. My next day off work is Saturday, but the news is saying that the weather could be snowy. Damn snow.
Let’s see, what else… I bought OMR’s album, Superheroes Crash, through Amazon’s MP3 download service. The quality is awesome and best of all it’s DRM free. Sorry, iTunes, but Amazon kicks your butt. I had a weird dream where I sent our dog, Buster, upstairs to my room because I heard aliens running around up there. Okay, that’s all for now. I need to update SoaH now with some Sonic Riders 2 music.
